Dr. Steve Escobar

Dr. Escobar is a 1990 graduate of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMRCVM) at VA Tech. He received the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award from the College in 2001. Dr. Escobar served as President of the CVVMA ( Central Virginia Veterinary Medical Association) in 1995, and has been legislative chair for the VVMA (Virginia Veterinary Medical Association) for several years. He served on the Executive Committee of the VVMA for four years, and as President in 2004. Dr. Escobar was a member of the Dean search committee for the VMRCVM in 2004, and has been a member of the Admissions Committee for the college. He currently serves as vice-chair of the Clinical Advisory Committee for the VMRCVM. He has a special interest in canine reproductive medicine and is a member of the Society for Theriogenology, VVMA, AVMA, and AAHA.
